Who is this service for?
University degrees, diplomas, transcripts and other education certificates used in the UAE.
How the document process works
- 1
Confirm what the receiving authority asks for
Different employers, regulators and universities may request different combinations of attestation, transcripts or academic recognition.
- 2
Verify the issuing university and country
Prepare the original certificate, institution details and any verification that the issuing authority requires.
- 3
Check the home-country and UAE mission steps
Foreign-issued degrees may need local authentication and the appropriate UAE mission process before UAE-side attestation.
- 4
Check translation and MOFA prerequisites
Use MOFA’s current attestation guidance and verify whether a legally certified translation is necessary.
Prepare before enquiring
- Document type, country of issue and intended use.
- What attestations, stamps or verifications have already been completed.
- Whether the document is an original paper certificate or an eligible original digital document.
- Any deadline set by the receiving authority.
Please do not send passport numbers or sensitive certificate scans through the public website checker. A QuickDocs adviser can advise on secure document submission if required.
Frequently asked questions
Is attestation the same as qualification recognition?
No. Attestation addresses verification of official signatures and seals; qualification recognition is a separate academic assessment and may have its own criteria.
Does my transcript need separate attestation?
It might. MOFA identifies certificates and transcripts as separate documents in its attestation guidance, so check the receiving authority's checklist.
Can QuickDocs guarantee approval?
No. Each relevant government or receiving authority makes the final decision.
