Start with ICP’s replacement service
ICP handles lost or damaged Emirates ID replacement. Use its official replacement service and select the applicant category. The replacement retains the original card’s validity; replacing a card does not extend residence validity.
Keep any existing card copy and your application receipts together. They can help you identify the original record when discussing the replacement with ICP.
Prepare the required documents
The service card lists a personal photograph and category-specific identity or residence documents. Choose your category on the official page to obtain the applicable list. Use current documents and check the spelling of your identity details before submission.
Apply and follow the receipt
- Choose the replacement transaction through ICP’s website, app or service centre.
- Review the personal details and attach the requested files.
- Pay the assessed fees and retain the application reference.
- Complete any authority-requested amendment or attendance step.
- Follow the delivery or collection instructions on the application.
Published ICP fee items
ICP’s replacement service lists AED 300 for a lost/damaged replacement and AED 100 for smart service fees. Urgent service at ICP centres lists an additional AED 150. Confirm the fees assessed for your category and chosen channel; these items are not a QuickDocs service quote.
For urgent handling, ICP instructs applicants to visit an authority service centre directly. Check the actual service availability before making travel arrangements.
Need a photo change instead?
Identify the reason for the change before selecting a lost-card transaction. Ask ICP which renewal or replacement/update route applies to the record and photo. See our Emirates ID photo-update guidance.
How QuickDocs can help
We can review your preparation needs and explain applicable typing support. Share the transaction type and the authority’s requested checklist. Keep your UAE Pass login and approval under your own control. ICP issues the replacement card.
